I am from East Central Indiana and love to fish the small streams and
farm ponds in my area. The idea for this site came to me as I noticed
that most of the creek access that wanted to fish was marked with no
trespassing signs. Most of this land is owned by farm families who
want to control who is on their land, don't want to worry about liability
and don't want people to leave a mess. They are businesspeople and
in many cases would be happy if they could make some money from
land that has little other value to them. I am just trying to put people
who want to fish with the people who have some water. I would be
happy to pay a few dollars for a couple hours of access to a creek
or pond on a Sunday afternoon. The fish in the photo above was
caught in late September in Sugar Creek near Wilkinson Indiana. The
creek is only about 15 feet wide at the widest and has a few holes that are
2-3 feet deep at the deepest. Some spots are only ancle deep. I love fishing
the small creeks but I also love to travel to trout streams in the mountains.
My family also enjoys heading out on the Gulf of Mexico and fishing the
artificial reefs. I am still new at saltwater fishing but i really like being alone
in the gulf.
